HDPE Pipes

HDPE Pipes

HDPE pipe is a type of flexible plastic pipe used for fluid and gas transfer and is often used to replace ageing concrete or steel mains pipelines. HDPE pipe is very durable and flexible and can be bent on site to a radius twenty-five times the nominal pipe diameter. HDPE pipe has very high flow capacity, because of its smooth bore and end-to-end jointing methods. HDPE pipe does not corrode in the environment, and will maintain its flow capabilities over time

HDPE pipe is a safe and durable product ideal for your piping infrastructure. The service life of HDPE is estimated to be between 50 to 100 years, depending on application, design and installation. HDPE piping systems can be joined with heat fusion welds. Heat fusion involves the heating of two HDPE surfaces then bringing them together to form a permanent, monolithic, leak-free system.
